Is it our imagination or what?
Recent lightning and thunder storms have seemed much more violent and destructive than we can recall in a lifetime.
Sunday’s storms were savage – as two homeowners found out in Beachmont when their waterfront homes had their roofs blown off and some occupants injured.
According to the Beachmont homeowners, the storms were terrifying – as most of us who experienced them would attest to.
The rains poured wildly from the sky. The winds swirled unevenly with terrifying sounds. The thunder and lightning were over the top.
Are we experiencing a change in the climate or are we simply forgetting how storms were as terrible many years before?
